SAP Basis Engineer

As a SAP Basis Engineer, you’re responsible to perform the application lifecycle management of the various SAP solutions, monitor the health and adapt where necessary to guaranty performance and availability.
 
  • You are responsible, together with your colleagues for the optimal functioning of all SAP solutions.
  • You take care of installations, upgrades, monitoring, performance, and backup of the SAP systems incl. databases.
  • You monitor the system architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and availability. You work closely with all other disciplines and customers.
  • You provide independent and team-based technical project support for implementations, migrations, and release changes.
  • You detect trends and provide advice on infrastructure development.
  • You have a flexible working attitude towards maintenance of the ICT infrastructure, which is often carried out outside office hours.

You will work in close collaboration with Business Analysts and It operations other stakeholders, to coordinate all activities linked to the SAP landscape.

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience as a SAP Basis Consultant.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, Linux.
  • Experience with MS Azure and SAP Cloud Platform products is a plus.
  • You have experience working in a global environment
  • You have good written communication skills and are able to write down ideas and procedures in understandable language.
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English
