  • You ensure product leadership on the bakery category and you build our image as a preferred bakery partner by our professional and retail partners: competitive benchmarking, bring the outside in, portfolio management, define the right innovation pipeline for sustainable internal & external growth.
  • You lead go-to-market commercial strategy design to maximize category value growth: Market data analysis (GFK/Nielsen), turn insights (trends & data) into concept selling, create a category vision for sustainable growth, define the right KPI’s on assortment, shelving, visibility and promotion, engage local & international multifunctional teams to ensure excellence of execution.
  • You lead portfolio strategy and drive ROI of activities to deliver internal volume/NIS/EBITDA targets.
  • You drive overall efficiencies and effectiveness of category management projects and organization drumbeat.
  • You lead, coach and engage BNL sales teams to elevate selling skills and to execute plans with excellence.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Category management in Belgium, experience in Netherlands is a plus.
  • You have proven skills in commercial strategy design and know how to deliver sustainable category value growth in the food sector (retail & foodservice).
  • You can translate a strategy into a go-to-market approach, in line with external & internal priorities.
  • You know how to analyze data (GFK, Gira, Nielsen, Pbi tools..) and turn insights into external storytelling and tangible plans.
  • You identify and set clear priorities and milestones to ensure excellence in execution.
  • You are a problem-solver with relentless focus on product leadership with passion for food.
  • You dispose of strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, including local & international key stakeholder management to meet crucial deadlines.
  • You are capable of motivating and engaging others to execute designed strategies with excellence.
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.
